Click & Collect
To make sure that all of our customers have access to our wonderful collection we have introduced a Click and Collect service. This is a free service available for all members of our community.
How does Click and Collect work?
If you would like to request specific items please place a hold through the online catalogue. Holds are free while Elma Turner Library is closed.
For larger orders, please submit one of the forms below. If you are isolating, please nominate someone to collect your items.
Once you have completed the form, we will contact you within 24 hours to advise that your books are ready to be collected from Civic House, 110 Trafalgar Street, Monday-Friday.
HOW DO I CHECK THE BOOKS OUT?
We will do this for you. All items will be checked out before you come in to collect them.
WHERE DO I PICK THE BOOKS UP FROM?
The library kiosk at Civic House, 110 Trafalgar Street, Monday-Friday.
We will text or email you when your order is ready to collect.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE THEM FOR?
The borrowing time will be 4 weeks on all books. Magazines, CDs and DVDs are issued for 2 weeks.
CAN I RENEW ITEMS?
Yes. Provided no-one has a hold on an item you can renew it through our website or by getting in touch. Note that renewing a DVD will incur an additional loan fee.
CAN I REQUEST SPECIFIC ITEMS?

CAN I RETURN MY BOOKS?
Yes, our returns bins are open at all of our branch libraries.
WHAT IF I HAVE OUTSTANDING FEES?
If you have more than $10 owing on your account you can pay this online or get in touch with library staff to discuss your options.
IS THERE STILL A CHARGE FOR DVDS?
- DVDs $2.50 for 2 weeks
- No charges for children's items
