Writing a Novella with Nalini Singh

Novellas are extremely versatile - they can be used to introduce a new series, tell the stories of secondary characters from established series, give your readers a bite-sized read between longer releases...and more. This workshop will talk about how to write a full story within the novella format. Because a good novella isn't simply a long short story, or a squished down and heavily edited novel. A novella is its own form. Suitable for writers at all stages of their writing journey.

Mystery at the Library

Multiple New York Times bestseller Nalini Singh is joined by #1 bestseller Rose Carlyle and local Nelson author and NZ Booklovers Award finalist Chris Stuart. The trio will discuss how they craft page-whirring tales full of memorable characters, and incorporate real-life themes into their books.
