A haunting but beautiful portrayal of the lengths people go to protect that which they care for. As an avid tree lover myself, this book was a joy to read, though tricky at times. I took a while to get into the style of the story, but really enjoyed the depth of the ideas within. I would recommend to anyone who feels a connection with our natural world.
